Dolls House Kit Review:- Centenary House by Sid Cooke
The Centenary Dolls House Kit includes all the pieces required to make a one twelfth scale three storey English Edwardian house. There are four rooms in total, a side hallway, landings and two staircases with turned banister rails. The design includes windows on all fours sides of the house, two external doors and all internal doors are included. An optional basement is also available. This provides two extra rooms and the basement kit comes complete with railings, gate and a service entrance. Max approx. dimensions: h42 x w21.25 x d25.75" (107 x 54 x 65cm) The Centenary Dolls House Kit from Sid Cooke is made from birch plywood, MDF and hardwoods. The kit compromises of ready cut, bare wood parts that require a little light sanding before construction. Also included in the kit are fully comprehensive instructions, glue, sandpaper and moulded windows. Glazing is not included in this kit. The Centenary Dolls House Kit celebrates the 100th Sid Cooke Dolls House Design. For further information, please contact:- This kit is relatively straightforward to construct although we do not recommend it for children. The kit includes all materials and full instructions leaving the kit maker to supply a few basic woodwork tools. A careful worker with a little previous experience might expect to complete this house in around ten hours. We recommend working in stages rather than one continuous stretch. Some pieces will require gluing and leaving to set. The Centenary Dolls House Kit costs £305.50 inc VAT. The optional basement extensions costs £108.95. Delivery for UK mainland customers costs £12.50. Please contact Sid Cooke directly for an overseas quotation.
