Tony Knott's Metalwork, Furniture, Houses & Room Boxes

Specialises in producing realistic looking 1/12th miniature metal work, furniture, houses and room boxes.

Since leaving school Tony has been involved in jewellery, both bench and retail and display work, photography, buying and selling of antiques and restoration of antiques and bronzes.

All the above skills are used in his range of miniatures.  For 14 years he has been making miniatures for private collections and museums throughout the world.

The metal work including domestic pewter is very well suited to medieval, Tudor kitchens or halls etc  but of course can be used in the later periods i.e. Georgian or Victorian houses.

Tony’s semi-articulated suit of armour is 1/12th scale as are all the weapons to include halberds, swords, shields, guns etc.

His country furniture has designs that go back to the Tudor Period but look equally at home as ‘antique family pieces’ in a Georgian or Victorian House.  All furniture is distressed and has a deep richness of antique patination.

He also produces historically accurate fighting men and traditional workers/crafts people in the Tudor/Medieval period.

Medieval and Tudor Houses and Room Boxes as well as Great Halls and Fantasy Castles as made by Tony are to be found in many private and museum collections.  These can all be produced from either the clients design or from any of his own interpretations.
