….Build A Dolls House - Fitting The Opening Front

Two open doors are the traditional way to open a dolls house but there are other options:-
- One removable front
- Two removable fronts (do not have to be two equally sized doors)
- Hinged door(s)
- Sliding Doors
- Whichever style you choose, cut the front first and then cut out the window and door shapes.
- Make or buy a front door and fit it.
- Piano hinges are the best sort to use if you front door is to be hinged. They are hard wearing and easy to fit with screws. Screw them to the door first and then line up the screw holes to the house front and mark their location with a pencil.
- A cupboard hook on the opposite wall will help the front door to stay closed
